A shower head water softener can come in several forms and is used primarily to remove metals from water that may change the shower experience and cause things such discoloration of hair. A number of places stock more than one type of shower head water softener. They may be available in a variety of home improvement stores, or in stores that sell bathroom fixtures. There are many types available online, too. The main advice in selecting a model can include making certain that the filters used with that model are easily obtainable. Softeners could last for years, but they may lose their usefulness if it is difficult to find filters for them.
