Clean Drinking Water-How to Have it in Your Home

Of course, all of you out there have a strong desire to provide your family with clean drinking water. But that is getting harder to do because of all of the contaminants that have seeped into our water supply. There are some steps that you must take in to give your family the purest drinking water.

You need to be very concerned about supplying your family with clean drinking water. At this point, they are finding new contaminants in our water supply all the time. They say that any number of the nearly 80,000 chemicals that we use every day could end up in your drinking glass, and the fact that many of these chemical agents are carcinogenic makes this even more alarming.

To guarantee that your family is enjoying only the purest drinking water, you need to purchase and install a home water purification system as soon as you possibly can. You can't go on allowing your family to drink water that has been verified as having 2,100 chemicals that are known to cause cancer in humans.

You will need certain features in your home water purification system that will effectively remove all of these chemicals from your drinking water. And then there are also the microscopic parasites that you need to be concerned about. They will require a filter all their own.

The features to look for are a multi media block and an activated granular carbon filter. These two filters working synergistically will remove 99% of all of the chemical contaminants that you could possibly come into contact with through your drinking water.

Now, to remove parasites and cysts, your home purification system needs to also contain a sub micron filter, which will take care of any microbe in your water that survived the chlorine disinfection process. Now, there is just one more issue with your water that needs to be taken care of.

If you want only the purest drinking water, then there is another feature that your unit must have. An ion exchange filter will remove all traces of toxic heavy metals that may be in your drinking water. These types of metals, which consist mainly of lead and copper, leach off of the pipes that carry your water to and through your house.

Now that you know everything that you need for clean drinking water, don't hesitate. Get rid of these contaminants as fast as you can; your family's health depends on it.
